individualized study plan
The purpose of an individualized study plan (ISP) is to chart one's educational path with intentionality. An initial ISP is created during the first quarter in the major as a plan for the next five quarters, and is regularly updated overtime, evolving with the student's interests, goals and plans.

defining my studies
I crafted my ISP to fulfill requirements for the Honors Program as well as for the Education, Learning and Societies minor. With my CEP core classes providing a foundation in community and spatial relationships and inequalities, I wanted to focus my other courses on just futures in education. I took classes on child development, digital literacy in the classroom, culturally sustaining pedagogies, and education policy. As a Puget Sound resident, I also made time to study the language of the land I am occupying, spending two quarters studying Southern Lushootseed and learning about the connection between language, culture and revitalization. Additionally, I took a quarter to participate in the Husky Leadership Program to better understand my skills and pervious work in the context of leadership.
