interdisciplinary honors

I've affectionately termed my honors courses "the fun classes," where I could explore niche topics, learn for learning's sake, be in a small classroom rather than a lecture hall, or all three at once. When I arrived at UW, I did not know what I wanted in terms of a major or a career, but I did know that I wanted to take my education seriously AND have fun with it. While the rest of my classes would be devoted to frantically trying to figure out my path, honors classes gave me that opportunity.
